The Law Office of John H. Graves, PLLC was founded in July 2008 by attorney John Graves. John has a depth of experience as a an attorney, mediator, counselor, and adviser to businesses, families, individuals, churches, governmental agencies and non-profits. His practice focused on preventing legal risk and, when legal actions could not be avoided, litigating matters in State and Federal Courts. During his years of practice, John developed a strong practice focusing on business matters, mediation, non-profits, and bankruptcy. For many years, he has served as a Judge for the Town of Rush Springs and a Special Judge for the City of Oklahoma City. He is admitted to practice before all of the State Courts of Oklahoma, the Western District of Oklahoma, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. John Graves graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Arts and Sciences with an undergraduate degree in Letters, magna cum laude. His Juris Doctor was granted by the University of Oklahoma College of Law, which he attended as a Comfort Scholar, in 2003. While in law school John participated in several successful trial and practice teams. At graduation, he was elected by the faculty to the Order of Barristers signifying that he was in the top 10% of his class in oral advocacy skills.
A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, John lives in Oklahoma City with his wife of 17 years and three children. Outside of the practice of law, John is active in his children’s activities, serves in various leadership roles at Victory Family Church in Norman, and enjoys outdoor activities.
